“I loved all the products I've purchesed from facetheory so far, but unfortunately I wasn't very impressed with this oil. The reason I've bought this oil is because it says is for eczema and as I have eczema around my eyes I decided to give it a try. But unfortunately when applied on my eyes it caused a burning reaction and made my eyes very watery! So I've stopped using it. My opinion is that this oil might be a bit too strong for my skin. I'll give it a try on my body and see how it goes and I must say it has a VERY strong nutty smell!”

“I started looking for tamanu oil when one of the beauty brands released Volcanic Elixir..while I don't mind spending money on luxury skincare (big fan of tata and sunday r here), it really annoyed me that they wanted £45 for 30ml of product which contained one ingredient- tamanu oil.. so I started searching the internet and found face theory- not only the oil is cheaper, I get more product but also, it is organic.. It's also in a dark glass bottle which is very important when it comes to storing oils. The only downside is- it has, shall we say, a unique smell- my boyfriend says I smell like BBQ but it's alright, I only use it at night and he got used it :) To be honest, who cares about the smell when you can see visible results within a week of using a product? I've used it for nearly 2 months now and I would definitely recommend it. Just a wee note to Face Theory though- could you please change the spray to dropper bottle, it'd be much easier to use it.”

“This rich oil doesn't make my eczema patches sting and leaves the rest of my face very soft. I use 4 pumps morning and night - my skin is very dry and sensitive. There is quite a strong raisin, nutty smell which I've now gotten used to. I've been using it now for 3 or 4 weeks and used alone it keeps my eczema from drying out for only a couple of hours so requires reapplication. It works better in conjunction with the jojoba oil cleanser but sometimes I'm lazy! Overall I'm happy with it and will likely repurchase.”

“So far so good. The oil did not initiate any bad reactions on my skin or my husband's skin. My skin is combination and my husband's is dry skin. The oil is so nourishing and hydrating. My husband's face is smoother and hydrated after using this oil. My husband's skin is so textured and very flaky. So far it is good. Me and my husband using this product for a month”

“So far ive been using tamanu oil for about 2 weeks now and i have not seen any major changes on my acne but my skin is not as dry as before and less spots grow on my face.”

“This oil is fantastic! I can't get enough of it and would most definately recommend it! It isn't overly greasy and leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated and plumped - will definately purchase again A+++++++++”

“This is excellent stuff, I use it every evening, mixed in with the night cream, and it is super moisturising without being greasy and I've really noticed a difference in my skin texture. I used to have dry red spots & flaky patches - all gone. It didn't happen overnight, I've been using it for a few weeks, but I'm very impressed - and I've only used a third of the bottle. One pump is definitely sufficient.”
