“I really enjoy this moisturizer. I have combination skin and using a heavy pore-clogging moisturizer causes congestion in my skin. This was my first moisturizer with niacinamide and vitamin C. Before, I used a (very expensive) moisturiser with SPF as well, so I thought I was going to like this one. I have been using it for two months now, so I want to share my experience: - Give the moisturiser a little gentle stir before using. Liquid and cream can be separated, and I don't know what is in the liquid or in the cream, but I want to have it both on my skin. - A little goes a long way. Repeat that. I use the spatula, but the small end because a pea size is already too much for my skin. I apply it in the morning after I rinse my face with lukewarm water or after a shower (I use the clarifying cleanser and jojoba oil in the evening and my skin does not need to be cleansed more than that). I dry my face and right after I apply a little bit of the moisturiser. I massage my skin, and it sinks in really nicely within a minute (when air humidity is high (bathroom) it might take longer, but if you walk around for a couple of minutes it sinks in perfectly). When I think I have used too little, I add a little more after a couple of minutes on those patches. - I got a weird rash around/under/next to my eyes after I used this moisturiser for the first time. I started to be more careful and avoid the eye area, which seemed to help. My eye area however still is a bit sensitive, and I don't know why that is or what ingredient could have caused this. The vitamin C, the niacinamide or maybe the bergamot scent. Next time I will be buying the scentless version (a pity because the smell is very very very good!!!!). - It took about a week or two for my skin to get used to this moisturiser. I got a very small breakout (which I believe is normal with new products with actives), but that disappeared very quickly. My skin also seems to heal quicker with this moisturiser, so it is really worth the wait. And when in doubt: a little goes a long way so don't use too much product. - I sometimes think this moisturiser should hydrate a little bit more. I noticed an increase in lines that appear when I rest my head on my hand (not very ergonomic, I know) since I use this product. I will absolutely continue to use this moisturiser during the day, but I maybe want to add something with hyaluronic acid during the night. I later saw that the M3 moisturiser does contain hyaluronic acid, but I thought that the M5 moisturiser would be more hydrating than the M3. Or maybe I should try the non-SPF version, or add in a toner or a serum. In conclusion, I really love this moisturiser. It contains a lot of actives and SPF, and I definitely noticed that my skin tone has evened out (probably due to the niacinamide) and scars have faded, but I don't know if that is due to the C2 cleanser (exfoliating) or due to the Vitamin C. 4 stars because my skin might be needing a little more hydration, and because I developed a small rash around my eye area. The rash is gone now, but sometimes little sensitive red spots reappear. I will see if the unscented version helps with this (when my jar is empty).”
