“Sadly I’ve had to stop using this barrier milk moisturiser as it severely irritates my eyes which I didn’t want to believe myself as the product is very gentle on my overall skin. I initially bought the moisturiser as I have oily skin and use retinoids. It went on well but as I would start to sleep my eyes began burning. I initially thought it was because I use retinoids but I’ve been using retinoids for years and the current retinoid in my skincare routine for over a year and have never experienced eye irritation like this. I did some online research and many suggested that my eye irritation is an allergic reaction. I’ve always been careful when doing my skincare routine to avoid the eye area and I do not use eye creams/serums either. So to work out what product it was, I stopped using a serum that was the newest addition to my skincare routine but the burning was still present. I then removed this barrier milk and used a different moisturiser that I still had and the eye burning completely stopped. So there’s an ingredient in this barrier milk that is an absolute no go for me and I’m gutted because I had nothing but praise for this product and could see why it was always going out of stock.”

“I bought this because I've been suffering from constant eczema flareups. Regularly. I got this to use in between flareups to strengthen my barrier and hopefully reduce the flareups but sadly, whilst at first it didn't sting, it didn't make much difference. I used it for a few weeks and eventually it started to sting so I thought my barrier is damaged and lo and behold I was getting another flareup. Shame it didn't work for me as well as the others”

“I ordered this a few months ago as needed to repair my skin barrier. I found it to be a nice consistency and quite moisturising and it also seemed to help repair my skin barrier, along with using other products. I ordered 2 more when there was an offer on to keep for future use. I have just started one of the bottles from my second order and am really disappointed and feel like I’ve wasted my money. For some reason, the second one is a lot thinner than the first ( it ran down my hand a lot quicker than the first when I did a test to compare the two) and is not moisturising on my face like the first one either. I feel I’m not benefitting in any way from it as I have the driest skin and really need something that moisturises well. Shame as the first bottle was great, but the bottle from the second order is not as good and feel I’ve wasted my money as I bought 2 the second time.”

“Love this product, really lightweight and yet packs a punch. I use vit A's and this keeps my barrier really hydrated and healthy. Goes really well with my bronze drops too. Would highly recommend for mature skin, I'm 50.”

“If I could only have one product in my skincare arsenal, it would be this one. I don't think I've ever had a product that almost instantly showed me results like this one has. My skin was always reactive and I'd break out in itchy hives throughout the day--I tried everything. I'm sure the hives had much to do with a compromised skin barrier; but wow, this product instantly soothed my skin and my hives breakouts have minimized to nearly zero. I use three pumps every morning and every night--the consistency is light yet soothing and moisturizing for my sensitive, combo skin. I stayed stocked with this product because I noticed Facetheory products tend to sell out quickly. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS”
