“It’s my first time trying this product so far so good, it does definitely doing something for skin barrier because it helped my skin when it had breakout spots, I applied it after toner, but still had to use a moisturizer on top few hours later because my skin sucked it all up, which is a good thing cause some products just sit on top of skin)) next morning I had natural glow ✨”

“Light cream but is a really good moisturiser, it calms sore areas of my face and tones any redness after being out in all kinds of weather. As usual, only a small amount is needed but it does a good job. I will keep this as part of my routine.”

“Before I fell in love with this Ectoin Milk, I’d started to rely on the Dragonsblood serum which really started to improve my skin. Then it was out of stock more often than not. So I tried the new Ectoin milk. And now it’s out of stock too. Honestly, Facetheory, I’ve been supporting you since 2020 - if I can’t reliably get hold of your products, how can I keep buying from you? Literally, what is the point of new product development if you aren’t retaining your existing customers?????”

“Used it a few times, hoping it would hydrate, but it ended up breaking me out instead. I stopped, and my face would clear up and then I started again after a week and I started breaking out the following day with no other changes to my face routine.”

While Ectoin BarrierBuild Milk is formulated to strengthen the skin barrier, soothe reactivity, and is generally suitable for all skin types—including sensitive and reactive skin—individual responses can vary. Breakouts can sometimes occur if your skin is sensitive to a specific ingredient or if your barrier is adjusting to a new product. The formula includes hydrating and barrier-supportive ingredients such as ectoin, lactobacillus ferment, oat milk, and tremella mushroom. However, as with any skincare product, not every individual will find a perfect match. We always recommend patch testing before introducing a new product into your routine and discontinuing use if irritation or breakouts occur, as you did.
