“I tried the old vitamin c serum on my face and reacted badly to it. My face was swollen like I had been bitten by a bee. I love facetheory and so I decided to stick to what works for me. Would like to try this new one but still scared as not sure if the formula is different and not just the packaging.”

We’re so sorry to hear that you had a reaction to our previous vitamin C serum and completely understand your concern about trying it again. The Glow-C Vitamin C 30% Serum has not been reformulated during the relaunch, the change was mainly in the packaging and presentation. Since the formula remains the same, it’s possible that the 30% vitamin C concentration is simply too potent for your skin type. We’d recommend opting for the gentler 20% vitamin C option or patch testing before use to see how your skin responds. Thanks Facetheory Team

“Unfortunately this is a negative review. I love Facetheory and will continue to purchase other products but this serum gave me quite a severe reaction - facial swelling and rash extending to chest. At first I was not certain the product caused this reaction however on attempting use a second time it occurred again. Very interesting because I do not have what I would call sensitive skin otherwise. It may very well work for others!”
