Hi, Thank you for your feedback on the Glow-C Vitamin C 30% Serum. We’re sorry to hear that it made your face feel greasy. This serum has a smooth texture and is designed to be easy to apply and remove, but we understand that skin can react differently to Vitamin C products depending on individual skin type and routine. Vitamin C serums, especially at higher concentrations like 30%, can sometimes leave a dewy or shiny finish, which some users describe as a “glow,” but this can feel greasy for others, particularly if applied in excess or combined with other products that add moisture or oils. To reduce greasiness, we recommend using a small amount—about three drops—and allowing it to fully absorb before applying moisturiser or other products. If your skin tends to feel oily or reacts to Vitamin C serums, you might also consider adjusting how often you use it, starting with less frequent application and gradually increasing as your skin builds tolerance. Additionally, pairing Vitamin C with lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturisers can help balance hydration without heaviness. We appreciate your input and continually seek ways to enhance our formulations and guidance to better meet the diverse needs of our customers. If you have any further questions or need personalised advice, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thanks Facetheory Team

As I only started out using vitamin c Serum I thought to go for the 30%! This did not work for me as it didn't dry down and left a greasy feeling on my skin. I then decided to try the 20% and see if that works better for me.

Hi Fiona, Thank you for sharing your experience with our Glow-C Vitamin C 30% Serum. We understand that starting with a high concentration like 30% can sometimes feel a bit heavy or greasy on the skin, especially if you are new to vitamin C serums. Our 30% serum is formulated with ethyl ascorbic acid, a stable and potent form of vitamin C, designed to brighten the skin, reduce dark spots, and stimulate collagen production. It has a light texture that absorbs quickly without stickiness for most users. Since you found the 30% concentration did not dry down as expected and left a greasy feeling, trying the 20% serum is a great approach. Lower concentrations can be gentler and more suitable for those new to vitamin C or with sensitive skin, helping your skin adjust while still receiving antioxidant and brightening benefits. For best results, we recommend applying the serum to clean, dry skin and following with a moisturiser to help balance hydration and absorption. If you continue to experience greasiness or discomfort, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team and they can exchange it free of charge with the Glow-C Vitamin C 20% Serum. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve and better guide our customers. Thank you for giving our products a try. We hope your skin responds well to the 20% serum. Thanks Facetheory Team

I’ve had the 2% before but this 3% is thicker texture but is not a problem.
