Vitamin C serums, especially at higher concentrations like 30%, can sometimes leave a dewy or shiny finish, which some users describe as a “glow,” but this can feel greasy for others, particularly if applied in excess or combined with other products that add moisture or oils. To reduce greasiness, we recommend using a small amount—about three drops—and allowing it to fully absorb before applying moisturiser or other products. If your skin tends to feel oily or reacts to Vitamin C serums, you might also consider adjusting how often you use it, starting with less frequent application and gradually increasing as your skin builds tolerance. Additionally, pairing Vitamin C with lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturisers can help balance hydration without heaviness.
