“I bought the grapefruit version because I like citrus scents. It does smell really nice. I’m a guy and one thing I noticed is that this does sting if applied after shaving, which might be the scent! So maybe the unscented version is better for men? It also doesn’t sink in that easily, and takes a bit of rubbing in. Otherwise ok but not sure I’ll be buying again.”

Dear Naeem, thank you for your kind words! We are delighted you are pleased with the Amil-C Whip M5 SPF 30. When you shave, it can create tiny cuts on your skin. If you experience a stinging sensation after shaving, it may be due to the vitamin C or niacinamide in the moisturiser. To alleviate this discomfort, you could wait a few minutes after shaving before applying moisturizer. Alternatively, try placing a cold cloth on your face for five minutes before applying moisturizer to see if it helps. Another option would be to apply a soothing serum before using the moisturiser. “I like its functions and its scent. I use it every morning. I did notice, however, that if I use my Gua Scha stone for massaging my face right after I use the creme, the creme is not absorbed into the skin and small crumbs appear on my skin.”

“This light moisturiser is perfect for me. I don't have particularly dry skin and like to pop on some moisturiser whenever I feel I need it and this is light enough to do that. It smells fresh and sinks in without feeling oily or sticky. I recommend it.”
