“I've been using this product for a few weeks now and overall it's just okay. Pros: Removes makeup/sunscreen well, good sustainable packaging Cons: Poor slip, doesn't emulsify well, (personal preference, but the mandarin scent it not great. In my opinion, it could have been a nicer citrus scent. I usually prefer unscented products, but since it was a face cleanser, I wanted to give it a try.) I think it does a good job of removing makeup and sunscreen however it doesn't have as good of slip compared to other balms and oils cleansers that I've tried. Therefore, I need to rub my face more vigorously to get the products off my face. Additionally, I don't think it emulsifies as well as other balms on the market making it a bit harder to wash off with the second cleanse. In general, I love Face Theory products as they focus on sustainability and good ingredients. This one is just a miss for me and I do't think I will repurchase for now. I'd love to try it again if it would be reformulated.”

“I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately it doesn’t emulsify as stated at all for me - and even with a second cleanse I can’t get it all off. Unfortunately doesn’t feel like it does a lot for my skin. Love the smell and texture but can’t help feeling a little disappointed”

“Game changer! Im 45 and have dry skin, that only face theory products have been able to make smooth. It still needed more help, it can still get tight after cleansing and active ingredients in other products were making me get spots for the first time. This balm is amazing, after a couple of uses my skin looked so different, really hydrated - it glowed! And other people noticed the difference too. Couldn’t live without it now!”
