Just a fantastic serum. It smells very natural. It has thicker consistency and I like that. I'm used to using oil serums and this one is amazing. I will definitely buy again!

Long read but this is the info I always wanted for skincare reviews. Product: Lipade Q10 Oil Booster Serum, 30ml My skin type and conditions: extremely dry, eczema flare ups around the eyes and on the face, mild melasma on the cheeks, hyperpigmentation (dark circles, blemishes (PIH) from the occasional spot, patches of darkened skin patches due to eczema trauma) and dark brown complexion so I scar easily and for a long time. I live in a cold (mostly) and dry environment (UK). Cons: - Small bottle, so I have gone through it quickly. This may only last 3 months for daily use. - A tad more expensive than other FT products. But when considering average costs for serums and for facial oils (which are more expensive to produce), it's a reasonable price. If it's still just too much, FT offers many discounts and promotions ( I have had 30% off before!) which would really make this serum well priced and more affordable to all! - By itself it may not be hydrating/moisturising enough for very dry skin. Since this is mostly an emollient, it cant repair the skin barrier if the skin also needs humectants, lipids/moisturising, (and occulsive if very dry skin) ingredients. So depending on what your skin is lacking, you may need to have humectants, lipids/moisturizing, emollient and occulsive layers too. This really helps only the emollient and a little of the moisture layer. The product is great, it's more of an issue what people are trying to use it for and product limitations as a oil serum (e.g. you wouldnt expect a cleanser to protect the skin from sun, so in the same way inherently the serum has its function but doesnt mean it's a bad product.) Just something to be aware of. Pros: - Dropper (hygienic and easy to use) and dark coloured bottle (to protect from light degradation.) - For an oil, it's surprisingly moisturizing and absorbs beautifully in the skin (for oily skin, use very small amounts to make sure it doesnt sit on top of the skin.) Previous oils I have tried (tamanu, rosehip, marula) never absorbed well despite having a dry skin type. And I found the oils are too thin to be an occulsive for my very dry skin. Also they never made my skin less dry, sometimes made it fell more dry and didnt help much with issues aside from feeling nice on the skin and skin soften. I think the trick was to get into a serum consistency for the benefits of the oils to work! I haven't found oil serums elsewhere so if you never enjoyed oils, this may work for you instead ! - Gives a really nice dewy finish/glow - Good for my sensitive. I didnt react badly to my sensitive skin. - Didnt pill or cause pilling or issues with other products. Bottom line: Its a really nice product in terms of how it absorbs, feel on the skin and finish. But it's definitely an extra product and not a necessary step especially as it may not be moisturising enough since it's mostly oil emollients. Hence the 4, not 5 stars. If you like to try new skincare or like to have a luxurious skincare feel - this is for you. If you are just trying to build a solid skincare routine there are other products that are more useful especially for the price and amount unless you know your skin need more emollients! Hope this helps someone!

I have sensitive oily skin with flare ups of dermatitis eczema - this is the first product I've used that balances my skin without disrupting it. I have not needed my eczema creams since using this and I'm certain that the middle age creasing is softening! Use on face, neck and decolletage and I'm really happy with the results. I've tried all sorts of expensive brands but I am a total convert to Face Theory - these products work, are ethical and exceptional pricing.

You don't need a lot of this at all. It's quite a bright orange colour too, so be careful not to put too much on. I like this a lot, I think I'll swap for another in the summer when dry skin isn't such a problem.

My eyelids started to sag and this has already started to lift them, I use it once a day as part of the skin care routine recommend on the website and I'm so happy with the results.
