“After hitting 40 I figured it was time for me to start incorporating some anti-aging products as part of my skincare routine… Everything I’d read was singing the praises of retinol products, while also warning you about possible side effects!! I have very sensitive skin so I was nervous about trying it, but as it reputedly helps with acne too I decided to take the plunge - safe in the knowledge that if it all went wrong, FaceTheory’s first class customer service team would sort it out! I needn’t have worried… This cream gives me no negative side effects at all. It hydrates but doesn’t clog, and doesn’t trigger my acne or my eczema. I use it as a night night cream, pairing it with the PoreBright serum morning and night. I also use the Vit C Whip SPF30 by day. This combination of products has done wonders for my skin. Way less spots, no more peeling, and gives good hydration. It also contains ceramides which are a great ingredient for the skin! If you’re wanting to try a retinol product, but are nervous about the possible side effects, give this product a go - effective but gentle. The only thing is I wish it came in a scented version, as I’m not in love with the smell (not that it’s bad or strong, it’s just not especially fragrant is all) but I’m sure there’s probably a reason it doesn’t. And with the ingredients listed in this product, I feel like another brand would charge way more… One of the many reasons I love FaceTheoey! “I love the consistency of the cream. It makes my skin feel delicately soft. I would have liked it in a different container, though. I find creams in tubes much more hygienic. Also, when in a tube, the exposure to light and air is so much less. Especially vit A (retinol) as an ingredient. It should not be exposed to light, as it is light sensitive active ingredient and can become less effective with regular exposure to light.”

“Needed to change from Amil whip as my skin was getting older. Chose this as it stated for dull dry etc. When I read the instructions I almost sent it back but I tried it and almost straight away I noticed a smoother and better looking skin. Did not experience anything that the instructions stated I might so really glad I tried it. Its easy to absorb not heavy and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky. I will definitely be buying again.”
