“My skin problem is mainly pigmentation from sun beds unfortunately. I didn’t realise how bad it was until lockdown and not having access to sun beds so I’m paler. This creams helped so much ! I’ve used for about 2 months now. I have ordered twice, still get the odd little spot and still have black heads but love upto now!!”

“The cream works really well to hydrate my skin and you only need a tiny bit because it’s more on the oily side. This is great because it should last quite a while. There’s hardly any smell but that’s fine and I haven’t had any breakouts especially because I use this cream as a base under my makeup. However usually retinol creams have a little kick in them but I don’t feel the lovely sensation which let’s me know it’s working on smoothing my lines. It just feels and looks like a normal hydrating cream”

“I was using this product for awhile and it didn't do much. I've since done research and found that most experts say Retinols and vitamin C shouldn't be used together, as they can make the other less effective. So... be careful with this product, and maybe look into serums for your treatment and keep the moisturizer simple.”

Hi Ellen Sorry to hear - do contact us at help@facetheory.com for a refund. I'm afraid though the vitamin c / retinol is a bit of a myth. This article explains it. https://www.paulaschoice.co.uk/6-retinol-myths-busted The vitamin c we use is a salt rather than the acid so the pH is different. Jamie

“My second purchase, love this and a pot lasts alot longer than most 50ml creams, only need a bit. Have found it doesn't absorb into skin as quickly as some but been using now over 6 months and happy with the results and also happy with the price, will keep on using. Just ordered the night cream and the regena c with the higher retinol so will leave reviews when tried and tested.”
