“I have facial skin affected by lupus and I am prone to lesions and a frequent “butterfly mask”. I am delighted with the results of this cream so far. It is reducing my lesions and does not aggravate my butterfly rash. Generally, anything that is not a pure product doesn’t work for me, which attests to the quality of this product. It is light and not greasy which also benefits my type of skin. Well done facetheory ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Facetheory's Bakuluronic Moisturiser M1 with 2% Bakuchiol, Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin C is the most beautiful & decadent face cream. Containing a blend of active argan oil, ferulic acid, vitamins C and E, shea butter and hyaluronic acid, the new formula now also features an added boost of bakuchiol, an alternative to retinol. Bakuchiol is derived from the seeds of the psoralea corylifolia plant, which is native to India and Sri Lanka and has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. Bakuchiol works by stimulating your skin’s retinoid receptors which synthesise type-1 collagen and help to expedite cell turnover. Though it has a similar effect to retinol on the visible signs of photoageing, it functions differently and won’t irritate your skin or make it more sensitive to sun exposure. “Good product, nice texture, the smell is very nice and you don't need much of it which is a bonus because it will last longer. I wouldn't say I've noticed my skin looks less oily but it doesn't make it more oily so I would buy again.”

“I bought this to use at night over my facetheory serums (I alternate between regenecalm/azelaic acid/porebright) as I use the gel moisturiser during the day. It spreads easily and is absorbed really well. My skin feels soft and hydrated in the morning and I've had no breakouts. Great addition to my routine for my oily, ageing skin.”
