Ok so I've been looking into using azelaic acid for a while. I have combination yet sensitive skin with large pores (blackheads are the bain of my life) and I get hormonal breakouts aswell as breakouts if I use a product that my skin doesn't like! I wouldn't normally spend so much money on a serum but the reviews were amazing so it seemed a good choice compared to the other alternative, cheaper azelaic acids out there especially as it has other lovely, skin calming ingredients. I'm so, so very glad I went for this one! I've been using morning and night without any irritation as I had been battling a bad breakout of painful cystic spots. This serum cleared them up within 2 days, no joke! Also, a couple of weeks on, I've noticed my Tzone isn't getting as oily during the day. There's not been any change in my blackheads in this area yet but it's still early days. I just love it so much, it's changed my problematic skin and I've been recommending it to everyone and anyone!

I'm not someone who usually leaves reviews for products. But the Face Theory's Azelaic Acid is definitely an exception. I have combination sensitive skin and had pretty bad acne that I was treating with tretononin in the evenings but didn't really have anything that i could incorporate in my morning routine. That's when i heard about Face Theory's Azelaic Acid. This stuff is so damn good! Like honestly i saw the results Day 1, my acne started reduce and skin definitely got brighter. Definitely recommend this to people you have problematic acne skin.

This is the most effective Facetheory serum. When I used it for the first time I wasn't impressed, it burned terribly, so I used a moisturizer first to act as a buffer. Noticed improvements so quickly. After a week I could use it directly on clean skin with no discomfort. This has honestly reduced breakouts, skin looks kind of smoother and more even. It hasn't reduced discolouration but also I haven't been using it long enough.

This is the first Azelaic Acid lotion I have tried. I picked this formulation because of all the soothing ingredients. I only apply at night, straight to cleansed skin, wait a couple minutes and follow with 100% squalene oil from The Ordinary. This product burns really intensely for 20 min or so - like little pin pricks everywhere, but once it settles down it is fine. It hasn't caused me any irritation and I wake up to really soft smooth skin. I have purchased 3 bottles so far and am happy to deal with the 20min burn for those pleasing morning results. Really fast shipping (all the way to Ausralia) and a trustworthy company. Rating 4 stars only because of the burning, but that could just be me. For reference, I have oily, acne prone skin.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS I SEE MY CHEEKS WITHOUT THAT DAMN PINK ACNE !!!!! I'm so sceptical about positive "happy puppy" reviews I usually see on the internet, but it seems like I'm going to write one now =))) Sorry for so many emotions, but damn, it's a relief! Okay, my problem was constant pink acne + broken capillaries on both cheeks. In winter it kinda reduced a little, but in spring and autumn, it always bloomed full force. An additional disaster began when I flew on vacation from my "mild" Amsterdam to somewhere tropical with +30 C. In 2 or 3 days I was covered in HUGE clusters of acne that looked fire red. All those super 1000000 SPF didn't make any difference. Even if I'd be covered in it like in a sour-cream. So I bought this serum about 2 weeks ago before going on vacation. Never heard of it, simply found it on google search via "rosacea treatment". I started applying it every evening a couple of drops and in the morning applied 50SPF on top of my usual moisturizer as prescribed. Yesterday I got back home from the "equator" (average temperature was +28C +30 C). Guys, NONE. No red or pink acne, no huge pimples, no dry crust (oh, I hate it). NONE! Sure my broken capillaries are still on my cheeks because it'll go away only with the laser treatment. But even these capillaries are so faded! I finally can see the skin on my cheeks! And the solution was so simple. I'm dancing my happy dance! The only question I have: for how long should I use it without a pause? Thank you for this product, guys!
