“Bought this upon the advice of Dr Sam who says azaleic acid is the best for for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I have had two bottles of this, one with the pipette and then the pump. It stung like mad upon application for 10 minutes so I thought it was working. After 6 months of trialling this, I threw the bottle away. No change to my hyperpigmentation. Later I watched a video by Dr V who says it contains Rose extract which is a skin sensitiser and to avoid it. That explains the stinging which made me even more mad! I wouldn't even give this a one star. Please change the formulation”

Hi Sorry it didn't work for you. The tingling will be from the azelaic acid. This product doesn't have rose extract in - it's rosehip fruit (the same plant as rosehip oil) - which is a different plant to Rose the flower and generally speaking isn't thought to be sensitizing. “I cannot rave about this product enough! I wish I could submit a photo of the transformation in my skin, even just after using it a few times! It’s incredible. It can itch/tingle the first time you use it but that’s pretty normal with azelaic acid and the results are so worth it. EVERYONE needs this!”

“Habe das Produkt für meinen Sohn gekauft, da er mit seinen Aknenarben auf dem Rücken sehr unglücklich war. Wir haben nun eine Flasche aufgebraucht und es stellt sich tatsächlich eine wirklich sichtbare Verbesserung ein. Bin sehr zufrieden und habe gleich nochmal nachbestellt. Die Lieferung erfolgte wieder superschnell. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.”

“A bit too early to say how effective it’s going to be but so far so good! A bit prickly for a few mins after application for first week but now using daily on my super-sensitive skin with no problems. Lovely formulation that sinks in really well. Overall redness in skin has reduced but too early to say if it’s reduced hyperpigmentation. Will keep using and repurchase - I believe you should trial things for about 3 months to see if they’re really working”
