Very good. A strong dose of azelaic acid which you may find a little bit 'stingy' at first. I stuck with it and use this only at night. It is definitely helping to reduce my hormonal acne. No unpleasant smell, easy to put on and I think the touch of chamomile is also quite calming on stressed skin. Excellent customer service as well.

I’ve been using this for about a month now, and I can honestly say that my skin is looking better than it has in years - skin tone is evening out, and looks fresher and not dull or tired. I’m using it every night after cleansing and toning. It still stinging for about 20 mins but I’ll happily put up with that once a day for my new, softer and clearer skin

Reluctantly, I have been extremely disappointed with this product. I love Facetheory products and have come to trust and rely upon them ... so I was very excited to receive my Lumizela serum- I bought it for my rocacea and because I have very flushed sensitive skin, especially during the summer months. Application was fine but almost immediately the serum began to burn my skin which was uncomfortable and a bit alarming. I read that you need to use a small amount and give your skin time to get used to the product but nothing has got any better after about 6 wks. Unfortunately for me, this pretty expensive product has been a waste of money for me and it has put a dent in my previously very trusting attitude towards Facetheory products as I’m now reluctant to try out other things that I’d had my eye on

Looove this product. Just to give background story. I have acne prone skin, now mostly hormonal ones, around the jaw. Since I have been struggling with all types of acne for a decade already (I am 32 now), my skin became textured, dehydrated, sensitive, reactive and I ended up with rosaceae flare ups. Everything that can be wrong with skin, ended on my face lol. So I started with decluttering&reducing products I use. Narrowed it to gentle cleansers, LRP sensitive moisturizer, retinal in the evening and I was searching for an azelaic acid. TO one was too iritating and it clogged me, Revox one-well i use it around my shoulders and legs so that says it all. I ordered FT one with hope, after reading all the happy end reviews. I have been using it for month&a half already. I started with 2-3 times a week, in the evening only. Now I use it every other night. At the beginning it tingled&stinged a looot!!! There was no redness tho. I used it on damp skin, after the soothing toner and waited a bit before following up with LRP ciclapast baume. It was really uncomfortable but after month it became more tolerable and now it's ok. My skin got used to it. I still have more than half of bottle left, but will probably repurchase it. Regarding the results, initially I had purging phase, due to all the closed comedones coming out. Now it's getting better, I can see improvement in the texture and my flare ups are almost whipped out. This could also be the result of using creams to restore skin barrier, like cicaplast ones from Uriage & LRP, but I will deffo stay consistent with Lumizela. Don't get discouraged with initial discomfort, try to moisturizer first before using it if it's 2 irritating. From my experience, for now, the best AA on the market

I LOVE THIS. If you struggle with acne, dark or red spots please give this a try. This has been game changing for my skin texture and I believe it’s one of the things that helped to keep my skin at bay.

It hasn’t helped on redness as much as I had hoped for, but I still really like the product and it’s consistency

I really like this formulation of Azelaic acid. It's non irritating for me and feels really nice on the skin compared to TO suspension. As for its effectiveness I'm seeing gradual improvement in my skin texture, hyperpigmentation and acne. I'm a fan!
