“This is a creamy formula that I did not expect and would not have purchased if I had known. It feels heavy and greasy and makes my face shiny. Definitely not what an exfoliating serum should feel like. I’m sure it’ll clog my pores with continued use. Try at your own risk if you have dry skin maybe but not for combo or oily at all. Huge fail.”

The Resurfa AHA & BHA Exfoliating Serum is formulated as a lightweight, milky serum designed to gently exfoliate with 5% glycolic acid (an AHA) and 2% salicylic acid (a BHA), which work to smooth skin texture, clear pores, and brighten the complexion. It is intended to feel light rather than creamy or heavy, as it should absorb before moisturiser application. However, skin types do vary, and some users—especially those with dry skin—may find the texture a bit different than expected. The serum also includes carnitine to help control sebum without heaviness. It is usually recommended to apply only a few pumps after cleansing and toning, then follow with a suitable moisturizer. If you experienced a greasy, heavy feel and shine, it might be due to product layering or skin's reaction, and your caution about pore clogging is understandable. For combination or oily skin, the serum is generally considered lightweight, but personal experience varies. “Ho scoperto da poco questo brand. Ho acquistato diversi prodotti, tra i quali questo siero. Un ottimo esfoliante, texture idratante ma non pesante, lo utilizzo alla sera circa tre volte la settimana. Funziona egregiamente, da quando uso Facetheory la mia pelle è notevolmente migliorata!”

“Je trouvé la texture agréable mais une fois sur le le visage c’est très gras. Je brille énormément alors que j’ai déjà la peau grasse. Je ne sais pas si c’est normal. En tout cas je peux l’appliquer le soir uniquement. La journée avec le maquillage c’est horrible. Donc pour l’instant je ne suis pas satisfaite du tout. Alors que la cartinine est censée être idéale pour l’excès de sébum”

“This FT exfoliating serum has been an absolute game changer for my perimenopause skin. I’m a few months in of using and it just keeps improving my skin. Pores are reducing, I’m getting less and less spots. My skin is the smoothest it’s ever been. No irritation or stinging on using twice a day under moisturiser. I Absolutely LOVE this serum.”
