“I love a good clay mask, especially kaolin clay. Every time I fall in love with one, it gets discontinued, so I'm praying this one doesn't because it's proving hard to find a decent one on the market. I'm in my mid-forties, with dry, sensitive skin that still manages to get monthly hormonal breakouts. I have to admit that I tend to forget to do my mask weekly, or just keep postponing due to health issues as doing this takes a lot out of me due to health issues. BUT! When I remember, and do decide to make the effort, I'm glad I did. My skin feels softer, smoother and looks brighter immediately after. The tiny blackheads/spots on my nose are cleaned out, and my pores on my nose and either side of it are tighter. I double cleanse my face in the evening first, then use mandelic acid (also from Facetheory) for 20 - 30 mins before applying the mask. My products apply beautifully after this and absorb so well. I really must remember to apply this mask more often. The only downside is that it comes in a jar. As I don't like to dip my fingers in the product and leave bacteria behind, I bought some tiny spatulas that I can scoop the product out with and apply to my face without touching my skin. I then smooth over my skin using my finger. Facetheory, please don't ever discontinue this item!”
