“Since having babies I have really struggled with hormonal spotty skin on my chin and above my mouth/below nose area. I first tried natural face washes which seemed to make things worse, then I moved to using a branded salicylic acid wash followed by Benzoyl Peroxide twice a day which did help during the non ovulation weeks but during ovulation I was back to painful cystic acne. My skin also got very, very dry and flaky and swimming with my toddler was impossible because the chlorine burned my flaky skin! I saw an advert on Facebook for facetheory and on a whim gave it a chance. I wasn’t sure it was working at first, I think for around 3 weeks I still had sore spots with heads regularly but kept going because the pot lasts quite a long time. A few weeks later I could actually see a difference, I have fewer blackheads, my skin looks smooth when I look in the mirror and I don’t want to jinx myself but the cystic acne spots haven’t come back either. I’ve had maybe 2 tiny pimples in the last 4 weeks. I use benzoyl peroxide at night after washing with this and the aloe vera gel applied with a Jade roller every morning. Feeling much happier with my skin!”

“Currently using this as a second step of double cleansing routine at night. On its own it doesn’t fully remove eye makeup. It feels slightly slimy in consistency, but once I got past that I found that after 1 week my acne and pigmentation was significantly reduced and even blackheads and whiteheads decreased. Am on week 2 and so far it’s impressed me. Will continue using for now.”

“I really wanted this to work. I tried this and the C2 pro and both broke me out in spots- the angry kind that take ages to go away and leave terrible scarring. I do rate facetheory Products generally, but something in these cleansers just didn’t work for me, which was such a shame because I loved the smooth texture of it. Every skin is different of course so will work for others.”
