“Unfortunately, this product wasn't for me. I loved the sustainable packaging and found the product really easy to use, but it made my forehead SOO oily. At least 2-3x oiler than when I used my previous cleanser. However, I've seen so many people love this product so it still might be worth a try. Just didn't work for my combo skin :(”

“Not a critique of the product at all, I absolutely love Facetheory products, just a warning to individuals using Tretinoin/Retin-A or any other sensitising treatments: use this product sparingly/irregularly at first until you're sure your skin can take it - I've learnt the hard way and absolutely destroyed my skinbarrier and have broken out badly. I suffered so you don't have to!”

“I have purchased this because I wanted to leave my physical exfoliation behind and instead though that it would be best to go into the situation with a chemical cleanser. Now, it wasn't until I started to use this product that I realised how much damage a physical exfoliation did to my skin because yes if you do physically exfoliate it will sting and yes it may make you cry. Now I have also noticed that if you do this cleanser on wet skin it is going to sting after less then a minute (I did find that you will slowly build up to a minute of treatment with this cleanser). Once I do finish using this cleanser I am going to decide if I want to use it again, at the moment the jury is still out on whether I want to keep this in my skincare routine or not.”
