“Bought for my 15year old daughters acne, she loves this product, within 2days her acne faded considerably, now just over a week it is totally clear. It tingles when applied, and skin is so soft after use, she is already wanting another jar for when it runs out. But a little goes a long way, cannot say enough positive things about this product, and the customer service from face theory.”

“I'm afraid this didn't work for me in the same way others have raved about. It caused me to break out along my jawline and I gave it a good 3 weeks to see whether it was an initial reaction. I don't believe products should cause you to breakout at any stage. Sorry but won't be using the rest of the pot or indeed re-purchasing again.”

HI Sorry to hear this. It's very difficult for a cleanser to break you out because it is rinse off. Properly rinsed, there's nothing left on your skin to occlude your follicles. It may be that you had an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients which can sometimes appear similar to a breakout or alternatively it was some other part of your regimen. “Has everything that I wanted in a cleanser and is surprisingly gentle though does tingle a tiny bit. I got the unscented one and it only has the slightest scent which is fine. There are some occasional little hard gritty bits but it's not a big problem. I ordered the two 180ml pots and put it into a pump bottle myself as I didn't want to contaminate the pots with water/bacteria. I would note that it seemed more like 200-250mls rather than 360mls. I've only used it for 10 days so haven't seen any results but did have a few more whiteheads which could be the salicylic acid bringing up blocked pores. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a gentle introduction to these acids. You will probably need another (oil) cleanser before using this if you were a lot of make up! Will give five stars if I see any changes in the skin.”
