“Found this is a nice oil with a delicate smell, however I have very dry skin and unfortunately this didn’t hydrate as much as I’d hoped. I think if you have any other type skin it would be fine just not great for skin which needs a real boost in hydration.”

“My face has had a really bad reaction to this! Rather than smooth, my cheeks have gone all bobbly and rough and spots have appeared in my hair line! Bit of a disaster really, but I know this oil is supposed to be really good so perhaps I've applied it wrong? I've used it twice; both times before bed and with moisturiser. Any suggestions as to why this has happened?”

Hi Darcie It may be worth patch testing each product independently to confirm it is in fact the cleansing oil. If you're not getting on with it email us at help@facetheory.com and we'll get you a refund. Jamie

“Worst cleansing oil I've ever used. Doesn't come off with water at all. It's too much oil so it doesn't emulsify. The claims that you can wash it off with water are not true, the water just gets repelled. Also, it doesn't do a good job removing makeup. Normal tinted sunscreen and eyeshadow are ok, but it doesn't stand a chance against any type of water proof or water resistant mascara. Overall, do not recommend. Can't wait to finish it and never use it again. :(”
