“We had requested a specific date for our holiday which couldn’t be accommodated and we had also requested travel agent phone calls only in the afternoon but proceeded to receive calls in the morning. We also found better flights and the same hotel for over £50 cheaper than offered by the travel agent. The hotel is over 40 minutes away from the city centre which isn’t ideal and the whole process to complete the booking took over 3 days due to the travel agent needing to speak to providers. Overall, we knew it wouldn’t be the best value for money but thought the arranging process would’ve been smoother and quicker than it ended up being.”

“The company organising the mystery holiday was only interested in helping me with purchasing more days, they had zero interest in sorting out what I had paid for, and date I requested, they tried to move it a whole month and to different destinations, and when I stated I choose the date for a reason, they said the destination i had received had sold out and tried to charge me for a different destinations at extra cost because it was "more luxury" and because I had chosen a weekend it was hard for them to sort out. So was trying to move it to through the week (they offer that deal, that is a there problem, and if they cant accommodate, remove the options of specific dates ) But when I said right how much is it ill pay for an extra day, all of a sudden my sold out holiday with the same flights departing out of Manchester became available (but apparently there was no room on the airplane for the voucher deal I thought I had purchased). That being said, when I did say I would pay for an extra day it was sorted and arranged very fast, just feel it gets mis sold for what it actually is. Which i feel for people in slightly different positions IE family, work or financial constraints isnt fair and it should be addressed,”
