Haven’t been yet as the holiday is in September but we got Warsaw, Poland which I was happy about. However , i wasn’t overly impressed with the company that you book the holiday through. They purposefully give you terrible flight times (sorry but I wasn’t happy to land at 1am), then charged us £39 pp to change flights. The hotel was 5K away from the centre but had to pay as the flight times were terrible. Also, after pointing out that they’d only allocated us 32 hours in the country with the original flight times, they said they’d allow us a later return flight home but not the earlier. However because I didn’t want to land at 1am (who would?!) I still had to pay. 30 minutes later after paying and agreeing, I then thought I’d have a look to see how much the flights were and the hotel if I booked it myself. The new flight time was only £25.99 and they’d just charged me £39. Adding the price of the hotel and the flights only came to £203 and I’d just paid £279. That’s about £74 out of pocket. I called the company back straight away and found them SO rude on the phone after pointing this out. I was happy to have a hotel transfer added or a better hotel, something to compensate of being charged well over what I should have. The man on the phone said “you should have done your research” and “go buy the holiday yourself then”. There was no explanation of how they could justify it or an apology. Absolutely nothing. He claimed it was my fault for paying the extra flight change fee. They were so rude and in shock at their lack of compassion or even wanting to listen to me. I get they want to make money but I don’t think it’s fair to fleece customers. I didn’t call for get a refund because I know they wouldn’t have done it, but thought there might be some compromise . Their lack of customer care was so so poor that I just cried when I got off the phone a I’d never been spoken to like that. It’s a shame because I am looking forward to the holiday but the companies lack of customer care was awful. They were so rude….
