“Bought as a Mother’s Day treat and ended up putting a dampener on the day. When we arrived the staff were friendly and asked us to take a seat at a table. However when we did we noticed the table was still covered in bits of food/spills from the previous customers. We asked for the table to be cleaned they wiped it down leaving it slightly better than we found it. The afternoon tea itself left much to be desired. I know it’s only cheap but I was hoping for a little bit more - or that it at least resembled the pictures posted on this offer. Which it really didn’t. After making our way through the sandwiches, we realised that there were multiple hairs on our food. Which meant that we had to leave the rest due to myself and my mum feeling sick. I was going to leave without saying anything since it’s a farm and I didn’t want to leave them out of pocket but then I realised just how badly they didn’t deliver. So I asked the man behind the counter (showing the picture on this Wowcher post) if we had got what we paid for. To which he said “I don’t know I didn’t make the post” So I told him about the hair in the food and my disappointment. He did give me a refund (which I really appreciated.) however I felt the need to post this to help others manage their expectations appropriately.”
