“Visited the Abbey Inn on a Wednesday with a friend for a spot of lunch. The pub itself was quiet when we arrived, but soon filled up. There is a set menu for those who use a Wowcher voucher. You have to order your mains and dessert together, which is a wee bit odd. I had Mac and Cheese and Churros for dessert, my friend had the Fish and Chips and Ice Cream for afters. Portions were a good size, there was a gluten-free option on the menu, and there were a few veggie options too. My friend said the batter on her fish was a wee bit soggy; otherwise, everything was grand. The staff were lovely. The pub itself was spotless, and it was dog-friendly too, which was nice to know should I venture another trip to Paisley.”
