“Far too busy and overbooked at the session we attended. The venue weren’t policing anyone’s times so some people were there for 3/4 hours. Sounds great if you get longer but it just meant it was way past capacity and unenjoyable for most of us. Queued pretty much for 90 mins. Managed to do 3 slides. Not good enough Also, water was warm but place itself freezing. Everyone now has a cold.”

“Water was absolutely freezing. Everyone we spoke to said the same and said they'd never experienced a pool as cold before. Our children where dithering so we couldn't stay long at all”

“I’ve had to mark our experience right down for this review. The slides are great Lots on offer But this time, the heating had broken overnight and the temperatures hadn’t returned to the pool even by our 2pm entry. Whole place was freezing; some kids were blue lipped. Feel like they have enough customer details to inform you before your trip. They offered a chance to reschedule if you were frozen but you try telling 2 excited kids on the way in that you’re off home til another day. There’s also the point of the showers…rarely work and when they do, it’s dripping out scalding hot water from about 3 of them. The floors are also on their way to filthy. Could do with a good scrub (and it’s not long reopened so you’d think they’d want to get the best out of the place and maintain standards). Anyway, overall it’s closer to us than the sandcastle so we go here but not mid season. Wowcher rate was about right at £32 for a family of 4 for 2 hours. Not sure I’d pay full price and be happy about it.”
