“Dublin itself was fabulous! Very expensive but still excellent. Live music in most bars! Great atmosphere! Booked with wowcher, then had to pay an additional £75 on top of the wowcher price to the travel company as apparently there were none of the rooms/flights left that I bought (yet when I went back onto wowcher the same deal was still being sold). I was put in a twin room when asked for a double, requested the change with the hotel which was going to cost another €38 when we got there. Luckily the hotel waved the charge and moved us room on arrival. The easy hotel in the “town centre” was a 20 minute walk past the homeless shelter. Wouldn’t recommend easy hotel for single or solely female travellers if you get anxious on a night time or walking alone. I was with my partner so felt safe but wouldn’t if I was walking alone. Hotel itself was OK, there is a vending machine in the reception and the staff are lovely. The room was absolutely tiny! The pictures make it look bigger than it is… be warned it’s not. Hardly any room to move around the bed. The bed was so uncomfortable it was hard like lying on a table had about 5 hours sleep over 2 nights catnapping! Not good at all. If I went back to Dublin I would book my flights direct with Ryanair and hotel separate direct with the hotel and not use wowcher at all, as I feel my experience has been misleading and overall cost me a lot more money than expected.”
