“Very disappointed with the quality and lack of selection of the cakes. They were obviously bought in bulk in a shop and topped with artificial cream. The scones were very dry and again had artificial cream. The sandwiches were buns and a couple of them were soggy. The conservatory was pleasant with a nice view but no atmosphere. Cold and very quiet, some background music would have been nice. Overall, I wouldn't recommend. There was only 1 other couple there and they were of the same opinion and hardly ate any of the food.”

“Terrible! The pot of tea was the worst tasting tea we have ever had, not sure how that could go wrong?! We prebooked over a week prior and still waited nearly 40mins for the food to be served. Sandwiches were ok but the scones were the tiniest scones I have ever seen and no flavour whatsoever, not sure if it was supposed to be plain or cheese. Cakes were all completely different to what the voucher was advertised as and we would not have booked knowing what cakes we would actually be given. We also did not recieve our prosecco. Only saving grace for us was the very friendly and helpful waiter. Done several afternoon teas and after looking forward to this as a birthday treat it is up there with one of our worst ones unfortunately!”
