“This was a good deal. Warm welcoming staff throughout our 2 nights stay. Impressive building in a lovely part of the country. The dinner contribution tomour first night evening meal was a bonus - I'd forgotten all about it. The restaurant had a decent menu and our meals were all cooked well. (We thought the rib eye steaka litle overpriced fwiw ). The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of both hot and cold options, but if to be picky, that toaster machine needs looking at. I can imagine queues at peak times as the toast needs to go through the system at least twice. Our room was more than sufficient, comfy bed and decent walk in shower. A bit mean to have just 1 small biscoffi biscuit as part of the tea tray. The hotel is well placed to travel to Oxford, Newbury and other towns and villages in the area.”

“Lovely location not far from Oxford. Staff very friendly & helpful. Upgraded room which a a bit tired & dated.Cleanliness of the room not the best .Staff rectified this by having it cleaned. The main meal & breakfast was lovely. Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful setting. Would recommend a visit. Stayed for our Anniversary”

“Lovely stay at Milton house, room was very nice and the dinner in the restaurant in the evening was lovely lots of choice on the menu. Breakfast was good, again plenty of choice and all very nice and hot. I would definitely stay again.”
