“We stayed for two nights, had dinner in the restaurant, good selection of meals. Bed was a king size comfortable, good size car park, found reception staff, waiting staff in restaurant, bar and spa friendly. We left our car in carpark, short walk outside grounds, to bus stop £3 in o Nottingham.”

“I love this place, it is so relaxing and very therapeutic. Steam room, sauna, swim room all good. Jacuzzi nice too when you can get in. Clean rooms and friendly reception staff. Breakfast has a variety of foods from - fresh fruit, cereal, full English. Only reason for 4 star this time as it would usually be a 5 was that the rib eye steak I ordered was on the small side wish is not usually the case, I think they have changed their supplie... I will be returning to see if it was just a one off as I really love this hotel. Xx”

“Facilities good although a little tired and could do a repaint - especially above the steam room - lots of mould noted. Had food and was very disappointed. Steak was gritty and mostly fat, chips were cold. Sadly breakfast wasn’t much better and we had to stop at a local cafe on the way home. Would return for facilities but would not choose to eat here again.”
