“Had a lovely weekend here, the food was lovely, the staff very friendly, the room clean and spacious, the pub attached was cosy, the only issue was the jacuzzi was not working, we will definitely be returning soon. Thanks”

“Good value for money. Hotel could do with refurbishment, dated and worn carpets, etc. Room was warm with double and single beds which were very comfortable. Plenty of very hot water in bathroom. Outside of patio doors, which led onto patio and garden ,we had table and chairs. Dining room, also had garden view. Dinner had good choice of dishes. Our food was tasty and well presented. Buffet breakfast had good choice of dishes. All staff we encountered were pleasant and friendly.”

“Thorougly enjoyed a two night stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Yes, the decor is dated and a bit shabby in places but the hotel's spotlessly clean and it's in a perfect location to enjoy Windermere and the Lakes. There's a very smart hotel across the road, if that's what you'd prefer (and we had a lovely meal there too), but we intended to spend time enjoying the great outdoors rather than 'living it up' in something more swanky. I'll happily go back if we visit the area again.”
