“Was not what I expected to believe, lots of charges that should not be, to have any vegetables or potatoes with your meal you had to pay 5pound extra each. Breakfast not full English unless u pay 9.50 extra, no apple or orange juice that was 5 pound extra. To say 3 course evening meal and breakfast included is miss leading especially when u pay for it and it’s classed as a luxurious 2 course meal. Was extremely disappointed. The ground in picture looks lovely but when u get there it’s all over grown and u can’t walk around the grounds as un safe. I would not recommend there are other hotels with less expectation which are much better than this place. 200 pound deposit when u book in also / Safe your money and go elsewhere this was truly shocking!!!!!”

“After a previous trip to Rudloe, we booked again in early April, arriving over the late May bank holiday weekend after an 90 mile journey only to be told (and it was stressed) by the hotel that Wowcher had cancelled our booking at the last minute; that the hotel was fully booked, and that they could offer no alternative accommodation. We had little choice other than to return home. We later discovered that Wowcher had not cancelled our booking - the hotel had in fact done so, claiming last minute maintenance had been required - contrary to what we had been assured by the hotel ourselves. The hotel say they had tried to call/email but I had no missed calls and the email they had sent was to a wrong address. I have contacted the hotel for an explanation as to why we were not told the truth about them cancelling out booking but they have not responded. Checking in (or rather waiting to be no checked in) was rather slow and at least one other couple were told they would beed to pay a damage deposit before they could have their room… It’s such a shame that this lovely hotel is so badly let down by its customer service!”

“Hotel was superb - quirky but tasteful decor. The dinner was very special, and the choice of breakfasts too was excellent. Totally recommended. My only criticism is that the Wowcher "booking" , although for a specific night, did not seem to register with the hotel. So make sure you contact the hotel for a confirmation - and in my case that meant a lot of phone calls!”

“Nice place, we enjoyed our stay, food good but be careful on this deal as the dinner only includes the protein part then you pay extra I.e. £5 per portion of peas, £5 per portion of potatoes etc, £5 for sweet, and if you want cooked breakfast it’s £8.50 extra. Last time our group stayed this was all included in the 3 course meal & breakfast deal . Also drinks expensive.”
