“Lovely Bar area with panoramic views. The Skybar really is a great place to while away some time. We had a good afternoon tea with plenty of high class fayre, beautifully presented by very professional and polite Staff. Slightly odd and uncomfortable low chaise seating by the window made a bit of a dent in proceedings but we got used to it after a bit of sliding around. On the whole an enjoyable and pleasant afternoon, slightly marred by the arrival of a person whom I can assume was the Manager / Boss / Owner, who proceeded to barrel into the room with a prespective wedding event guest and take to the stage ( literally ) to have a demonstratively loud and socially tone deaf conversation about the planned big event. These things have to be done I suppose, when big money is at stake for the business but please try to do it in a manner which shows a bit of discretion and respect for your other paying guests who have to listen to your high volume sales bluster. Not a great look.”

“Unfortunately I feel this wasn't an enjoyable experience and we left feeling quite disheartened. When we arrived at 4pm the bar was quite busy which I expected due to it being the weekend. We were asked to confirm details of our booking which I did and mentioned we had booked for afternoon tea. We were then escorted to our high table next to the bar. I requested a change of seat due to my mum having a disability, however I was advised this was not possible despite there being a few other tables at this point. We made do with our table only to sit for over 20 minutes without any staff coming to check in on us. I then asked a staff member if someone could come to let us know what was happening as we were booked for afternoon tea and had a show to attend which was getting closer to the time we wanted to be at the venue. After this someone came over to ask us what cocktail we could have and that they would arrange our afternoon tea and at that point we were told that point any further service would need to be done at bar. We then waited for a further 20 minutes before we finally received our afternoon tea without any tea or coffee offered. I again asked about a table change due to my mums requirement and was then advised we could move but this would mean a reduction in the time we could stay in the bar. After finishing our food we decided to leave the bar as felt that we had not had the best experience to be honest. I feel disappointed as this was suppose to be a post birthday treat for my mum to go with her show ticket and considering I spent £20 per person on this was the level of service was not up to scratch.”

“I took my mum for her 90th birthday and she loved it. Food was amazing, staff were lovely and so helpful, and to top it all off the views were great.”
