The hearing aid earbuds work quite effectively as pure hearing aids but, unfortunately the buds I received were not Bluetooth compatible. Have received confirmation from the supplier that none of the hearing aids on this offer are Bluetooth enabled . Having said this, the aids do work effectively and comfortably giving a decent amplification without any 'screaming' when properly inserted and set at the right volume. I specifically ordered these because of the Bluetooth compatibility so, have requested (and have been granted) a full refund. Let's see how it transpires.

I have moderate hearing loss and over a few years have used five different pairs of hearing aids ranging from basic NHS behind-the-ear to their later BTE with Bluetooth but find the sound quality unimpressive and wearing spectacles with them is not a comfortable experience. I have also had three pairs of in-canal aids going up to very expensive Phonaks all of which were moulded to my ear canal and proved most comfortable and with varying but generally acceptable sound quality. I wanted to change to rechargeable aids rather than those that need regular battery replacement, so I bought these Shenzen. My decision was influenced by the numerous positive reviews but they are by far the worst hearing aids I have ever encountered. Despite trying all of the insert options they ranged from uncomfortable to downright painful in my ears. The sound quality was dreadful. I tried them driving the car, in a supermarket and at home and they were nothing short of useless in all environments and despite trying all of the settings. I could hear peoples’ voices better without any hearing aid in than when using these. Also, the ad said that they were Bluetooth but I doubt that these are – they would not connect with my iPhone – and that is an important requirement for me. In my opinion, they are an inferior product and not fit for purpose in every respect.
