“Great value break but sadly Raddison is NOT as good as wben it was Mercure. Not enough Robes in SPA. Guests asked to return to reception to collect additional Robe and then have to pay £10 per Robe!! Oak Room restaurant no lo ger open on Sunday evening.”

“The hotel and reception staff were welcoming. The room lovely and warm, hot water fabulous. The food really good especially breakfast time. The bar is rather dark and no sofas by the windows. The pool changing rooms spa were disappointing. There were very limited loungers in the pool area. The changing rooms were dirty with hair and dirty footprints all over the floor, and towels piled up in the laundry basket spilling out over the floor. We were unable to book spa appts as they were fully booked.”

“Lovely hotel. Exactly what wanted. Old, traditional look, lovely staff, very helpful. Food was great, room was nice. Location was perfect to go to/from Shrewsbury. Spa treatments were amazing. Shame jacuzzi out of order and gym was being renovated when stayed but wouldn’t stop us going back again.”
