“Overpriced for what was no different to a good sized garden centre and farmers market. Few affordable show specials to justify exorbitant entry fee. Lack of variety with no tools, equipment, vegetables, seeds, bulbs etc. Too many irrelevant market stall holders with so many garden themes missed. Decent grass parking for fine weather. Option of indoor refreshment/facilities welcomed.”

“We found the Scottish Garden Festival very underwhelming. I had hoped to buy bedding plants, filled hanging baskets etc but I went away empty handed. Just not inspiring!”

“The Scottish Garden Festival was very disappointing, there were more craft stalls than garden outlets. The prices being charged by the garden venders were very steep in my opinion and not value for money. This was my first visit to this event snd I doubt very much that I will be attending any future Harden Festival events. On a plus the Rock Choir was excellent.”

“Weather was good on the Friday so it was OK to be outside but if there was bad weather it would be a short day out. Stalls were varied and reasonably priced. I would say that I'm glad I didn't pay full price. However a pleasant 4 hours in the sunshine.”

“i stay local so was i looking forward to this event, i was so disapointed, it was just stalls, so you are paying to get into stalls that sell you stuff? no freebies, was singer on main stage but was off more than she was on, there was one good flower arranging room if you were into that, bought a few plants, generally though flowers were expensive, it was more like nice market, don’t quite know what entrance fee was for? it has to be free in future or charge say £5 for staff , so disapointed”

“My husband and I spent a lovely couple of hours on Friday walking round the Garden Festival. Weather was lovely and we enjoyed browsing the stalls and buying some beautiful plants and other goodies.”
