“Room was fantastic. As for evening meal set menu didn't really cater for vegetarians . Thought the menu was too restrictive. Breakfast was faultless. But we didn't feel it was worth £20.”

“A lovely old hotel with character staff were very good and extremely helpful. The bedroom was ok with a good view of the park .The good was also very good I had the bacon chop which was delicious followed by stickytoffee pudding which was mouth watering. The buffet breakfast was also excellent with a great choice of food options. I can definitely recommend this hotel”

“We were very disappointed with the food served to us during our stay. Yes, the hotel is a little tired but clean, and the staff are friendly and the location is excellent, but the dining experience leaves much to be desired. Dinner took a long time to arrive, despite the restaurant being almost empty, and we were served one main dish overcooked and the other main dish dangerously undercooked (pork!). Breakfast was poor quality too.”
