“Did the stadium tour the day before the semi final, so the collective mood was better than if we had gone just after. Our tour guide; Anthony Hellier, was excellent. Helpful; humourous and very knowledgeable about the club and it's history. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the parts of the ground that you don't usually see on a match day. We sat in the seating area where Princes William and George are seen sitting. Everywhere we went there was memorabilia of great days and great people. I was very impressed with the standard of the various hospitality areas and seeing the directors lounge and their facilities. This is where some of the replica cups from past triumphs were on show. The club is going to open a proper museum to display memorabilia currently in storage. The media room was another highlight where we all had a chance to sit where the after match interviews are recorded. The excitement built the nearer we got to the players tunnel and of course the pitch itself. The Villa players changing room was an obvious highlight; and it was like playing musical chairs with everyone getting a photo in each of their favourite players seats. Mr Emery and his coaching staff have their own room where they entertain their opposite numbers after the match. Then we were in the tunnel and out pitch side. The pitch looked immaculate but understandably we couldn't go on it; although there was a lot of furtive touching of the grass going on. Sitting in the manager's and staff seats was fun too. As a Villa fan I can't recommend the tour enough. Using the Wowcher made a great value day out even better value. UTV.”

“My son is 40 this year and I bought 2 tickets towards the big day. He and his wife went on 22nd April and thoroughly enjoyed it. He's been a fan since he was 2 and although not able to afford game tickets, this was a great start for his 40th birthday celebrations. Thanks Villa.”
