“Food was not great on my second occasion at tobys. But first time was spectacular. My main issue is that tobys price for 2 courses for two adults is almost same price charged by wowcher for the voucher. The difference i believe is less than £2 cheaper which seemed very odd and pointless”

“There were too few staff at the restaurant. The person who was carving the met had also to restock the counter, meaning she left it unattended to go fetch more (quite a long time), I had to ask for the vegetables to be topped up. When we finished our main course we waited for a server to come to us, no one did so I went to fetch the person who served our drinks. We ordered desert and waited and waited, our server came again and said are you still waiting..Yes, she said she would find out what was happening. NOTHING! When I next saw her I said we would need to take our deserts home as we had waited so long........still we waited.....I assume that the service was this poor because of low staff numbers!”
