“Lovely food with good 3 course choices. We paid £12 extra for 2 sides to accompany the mains. We have had to do this before to supplement the mains at other Wowcher deals. We were served and welcomed very nicely, beautiful surroundings of the Waldorf restaurant. Only one problem, the service was very slow. No fault of the good waiting staff, the food was slow to arrive from the kitchens. We ate at 6pm sharp, allowed one and a half hours for the meal, ordered all 3 courses at the beginning, but waited 35 minutes for the simple cold starters. The main came slightly quicker, but we had to absolutely bolt our desserts. We told staff we had a train to catch, and they did their best. We made our train, and would definitely go again to the Waldorf, but do allow more than one and a half hours. The nice doorman showed us the Palm Court prior to our restaurant booking.”
