“Purchased Wowcher stay. Requested to use travel cot this was extra £10. There was no correspondence for use of stay, no full address given or thank you for hiring 2 night stay. I had to find this info myself. No chocolates or Prosecco received. Couldn’t find anyone on site to ask , called the mobile “Gary” this went to voicemail. The Caravan was cold and mattresses need replacing, springs digging in your back although was clean and presentable. The Caravan was 2 bedrooms, kitchen and dining area there was no lounge as shown in photos however this could be a 3 bedroom plus ? Would not recommend or stay again which is a shame as we will be visiting family regularly. The pub was nice and we got hot food to take away.”

“Lovely location, however very poor communication, phone number doesn’t work, no staff about, no towels in lodge, pub on site on the website said open but wasn’t no one in reception, bought deal with chocolates and prosecco didn’t get either, bed seen better days, bedding poor, set up good location great but wouldn’t stay again sorry”

“We enjoyed our stay, family of 4, girls had a good time in the hot tub! Lodge could have been cleaner. Was provided basics ie towels, linen, tea and coffee, milk sachets. Lovely owner.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is completely secluded and in the middle of nowhere, so no activities to do apart from walks and venturing out but on the plus side it's relaxing. The hot tub was lovely and secluded, only thing I would say as our lodge was near a tree there was alot of bird dropping on the privacy screen which was unsightly. The lodge was well maintained and clean, the kitchen was well equipped with fridge (which was a little smelly), dishwasher (didn't use this), washer dryer (dryer was pretty useless to be honest) gas cooker (which we did struggle to operate the oven), microwave, toaster and all cutlery. Rooms were nice and tidy. The only thing I would say is the showers are little small for a tall person and clostraphobic for the average person. There is a pub inside that can accommodate for your food requirements. The reception staff were lovely and we had a lovely time.”
