“I had booked this Wowcher as a birthday present for a friend but I was lucky enough to go along too! Not only was this a lovely pub to have an Afternoon Tea in, we were immediately made welcome and really looked after by everyone we came into contact with. There was lots to eat and of a good quality too. Highly recommended from me and I look forward to going to the Ragged Cot again in the future.”

“Arrived at the venue. The table was not set up for an afternoon tea - no cups, saucers plates on the table only knives forks and serviettes. The table was sticky - the varnish was coming off the surface. We had to ask for some items twice to be told by a female member of staff that they were busy. There were only 4-5 tables with with customers on them probably a number of 12 people including my party of 6. There was only a selection of two types of sandwiches- seafood prawn and egg mayo. The cakes were lovely but bitesize. The staff had a group in the next annexe for what I presume was a christening party. They should not have taken my booking if they can't manage or employ more staff. Not impressed in the least.”
