“My partner had the roast beef only one small slice in plate had to ask for more, I had chips and burger chips were hard”

“Disappointed, although the portion size was adequate for me, my partner felt hungry still (came home and cooked a pizza to fill up). I opted for dessert at an additional cost of £7.00 honestly wished I hadn't bothered it was a tiny soggy based mess snd certainly not value for money. Won't be returning, although have to day staff were great.”

“Food itself was ok, but small portions. When I enquired on phone about where we could eat ( lounge bar or dining room) was told either , but on arrival they clearly put all 'wowcher diners' in the back dining room which we found lacked atmosphere and was dull and not cosy. We found it to be a cold room. The stories of the ghosts may try to explain away the chill in the room , but I think that could be remedied with a bit of warm colour on the walls and a fire or heating. I wanted this to be good for my family but was disappointed. As I said the food was alright but let down by the ambiance. We were not offered a hot drink but maybe my wowcher did not cover that.. not sure.”
