“90s shabby hotel showing its age especially in the rooms . Carpets grubby beds ok furniture very dated . Bathroom small fixed shower head noisy cistern showing its age skirting etc . Food was ok ,Caesar Salad was best dish of the weekend although had to be told to take it back an put anchovies on it . Overall below average at best . Spa saved it from 2 stars although all staff seemed sullen. Then we found out it was shutting end of Dec . Hopefully better on reopening ?.”

“Had a lovely weekend, room very clean and comfortable, staff so lovely and polite. Must mention Robert abd Ganesh in the dining room, very attentive and helpful, always smiling . The food was delicious, Had Malaysian curry really good. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and included in the price. Walked to Fosse centre, lots of restaurants in a complex shops, Sainsbury’s, next. Caught a bus into Leicester opp Fosse Way 15 minutes £6 each way. Leicester is amazing too so many shops 120 In one building in centre, market, charity shops loved it! Only downfall is the parking, use hotels app, £7 a night, pay when you get there. Booked & paid 2 nights then had a text at midnight, said it ran out. So had to get dressed go to reception and pay again. I have since claimed it back. Would stay again, good value with Wowcher voucher. Large pool, sauna and fab steam room, have to book but it’s no biggy, also gym. All included in price. Thanks all”

“We arrived at reception and was greeted pleasantly and given our room cards which we had 2 of, we booked the n for our evening meal and was given our voucher for the bottle of wine which we could use in the bar or restaurant. Our room was at the far end of the hotel which was lovely and quiet as there was a wedding party staying in the hotel, it was clean and had an iron and ironing board and a fan which was good as the windows didn’t open very wide and the room was warm, there was a sofa and a very large tv, the bathroom had complimentary toiletries by the sink and in the shower. We booked to use the pool and the sauna steam room and spa pool, again it was busy but we still managed to use them with no issues. We arrived Friday for a 2 night stay, Saturday we walked across the road to fosse retain park which was great for a bit of retail therapy. Our overall stay was really good and we would book to stay again.”

“The process of ordering and getting the voucher was easy and all straight forward. The hotel had our details as expected and although I had a paper copy they didn’t need it. We were expecting to pay for parking but as there were problems at the hotel that weekend it was free. It was disappointing that the hotel swimming pool was shut because of a problem with gas services in the area so although nothing to do with Wowcher our experience of the hotel was poor.”

“Unfortunately the Hilton Leicester had no gas supply, so no hot water and limited menu. We had to make our own last minute arrangements to stay elsewhere at quite an expense. I would have left 0/5 but site would not accept this.”
