“My friend and I had a lovely day at lythe hill, the surrounding were beautiful, we were lucky with a sunny day and could walk around. The staff were brilliant, so helpful and kind. The treatments were amazing, nothing was rushed. I had a facial which felt amazing. We swam in the pool and used the steam room. The afternoon tea was lovely, I am gluten and dairy free and this was no problem. The restaurant was in a very old building which was beautifully decorated and had a relaxing atmosphere -we didn't get any bubbles I realised but the tea and coffee was good.”

“We made two phonecalls on the way and no one picked the phone up. We wasn't told when we arrived that treatment time had been reduced due to late arrival which was traffic on M25 and M3. Then we wanted a coffee but the machine at pool side wasn't working . It was meant to be a fiz afternoon tea but there was no alcohol so ended up with moktails instead. Although it was a Christmas present for my girlfriend and it was her birthday too we was overall very disappointed and won't be going back”

“A lovely day, helped by fantastic weather. The scones were the highlight of afternoon tea, as the sandwiches were extremely basic.”

“The staff were lovely and setting appealing. However the cold water sprinkler in the spa was not working and a suitable alternative was not in place. Equally the overall package was great.”

“Absolutely love this place! Second visit and will be visiting again! Outstanding spa treatments professional and relaxing. Afternoon tea delicious served in the beautiful Tudor restaurant. Staff attentive and friendly. A perfect way to end the day!”
