“I went to this afternoon tea for 2 with a slot time of 10.00am at the John Lewis, Oxford street branch. When we arrived we were asked for our voucher before being shown to our reserved table. We asked what hot drinks we wanted and I opted for tea, but there were many other options available. With refills of tea and coffee available. Not long after our food arrived with sandwhich flavours: Tuna mayo, cheese and pickle and coronation chicken( which was our least favourite flavour) we would've prefer another chicken option such as chicken salad. The bread could've also been fresher and better quality. The sweet treat selection included: a chocolate brownie, victoria sponge, an eclair and a sponge plain cake, scones with a choice of plain and one with currents. Which I had cut in half in order to share. Overall I enjoyed the experience and the cafe and staff were nice and it was nice for a relaxing time to unwind. I would've preferred another chicken sandwhich flavour option and the staff could have approached our table more to see if we needed something, instead of us always having to ask. But the food was a decent amount and filled us up, overall it was a nice experience.”

“Took my Mum to Hufkins at John Lewis in Oxford Street, Depsite all the problems with transport that day, it was a great relief to sit down and enjoy a beautifully laid out freshly presented tea for two. The staff were friendly and professional and I'd definitely go back again.”

“We received a very warm welcome at reception and were taken to a beautifully laid table. The service we received from our waitress (sorry I didn’t get her name but she was petite with brown hair ) was excellent. The afternoon tea was superb and the sandwiches, cakes and scones were freshly made and delicious”

“I was very disappointed I think I expected more as I have gone to a lot of afternoon teas and felt the cakes were very dense and heavy, normally you get a plain and current scone but we got the choice one or other. The bread for the sandwiches felt hard”
