“Ice cream machine broken. Limited Wowcher menu not the regular choice. Ripped and patched seat and unserviced toilets. Staff were friendly and attentive but food was pretty ordinary”

“Excellent value covering most of the full menu, including chicken and burgers together with steak and ribs, the latter two costing an additional £5. This is not haute cuisine but is still dependably good food in a pleasant, clean restaurant. We only ever buy 2 course deals as the inclusive buffet salad and fresh bread roll(s) make an excellent and filling starter. The choice of desserts is varied and we always have a dessert with ice cream which is Cornish(?) soft-serve and excellent, if you have room left! Drinks are not included in the deal but beers, wine, unlimited soft drinks are options. The staff is helpful, efficient and smiley. My only negative came when they sat screaming children next to us in the restaurant. I love children but my husband and I found it difficult to enjoy our evening with noisy children who should have been home in bed! In fairness, this could happen in other restaurants and has only happened once in our many visits. Otherwise, a reliably good experience, thoroughly recommended.”

“Sorry, but I was not well on date of booking, however, my sister and husband jumped at the offer of s free meal in my place. The both thoroughly enjoyed their meal. God food, friendly staff and pleasant surroundings. Good menu choice. I have since been and can't confirm their comments. Will book again in the future”
