“it was an absolute disaster frankly. Of our party of 5, 1 did not receive any treatment and waited in the relaxation room for a total of 40 minutes without any clarity of the situation. The spa was disorganised and several other parties had issues also. The food for the afternoon tea was good but the Spa element was truly awful.”

“Hotel Reception and Spa staff were friendly and helpful. The spa was clean and bright, warm changing area, great showers with plenty of shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. The swimming pool was small but could still do a decent amount of swimming. The sauna was good, not too busy. The poolside showers were also good. Had a pleasant neck and back massage with an amazing facial. The male therapist was very calm and quietly spoken and there was a peaceful atmosphere in the massage area. Beautiful skin products. The afternoon tea was delicious, soft drinks alternative was offered and as much fresh, hot tea as needed. A great day.”

“The afternoon tea was lovely. The spa area is quite limited, only a small pool and sauna. Quite quiet during our visit though so was pleasant, although the pool was quite cool. Disappointing to find a male therapist which we hadn't been notified of in advance. Felt very uncomfortable when one of us was allocated to him and asked for a female therapist. The other one of us was then asked to swap to the male therapist after our treatment had commenced. Declined and both of us did have female therapists. Suggest the presence of male therapist needs to be notified to women at registration to avoid any uncomfortable experiences for either guests or therapist. Treatments were good.”

“The treatment was lovely and afternoon tea was nice. Very limited facilities outwith that. The pool was very cold and the only other thing was a sauna. I wouldn’t say it had spa facilities on site.”
