“Found a mouldy raspberry on our mille-feuille during afternoon tea at the Glasshouse Street branch. Completely unacceptable. The child with me later had diarrhoea and digestive issues. This raises serious food safety concerns. Extremely disappointing.”

“The service was absolutely excellent, and they even catered to my dietary needs for a vegan afternoon tea despite it not being on the menu. However, the sandwiches were just not worth the money in my opinion. The bread was too thick and dry, and completely ruined the taste, the fillings were delicious but the rye bread was horrible. And it didn’t taste fresh, the bread tasted stale. The cakes were absolutely delicious!”

“firstly, I'd like to say we booked for the Kings Road Café Concerto as that was the one advertise but I found out after trying to book it that this store doesn't even exist anymore. First disappointment.! we settled for going to Kensington -the male member of staff failed to give us any type of friendly greeting, which was again extremely disappointing! thank goodness for the waitress as she was a sweet and very friendly and made out experience better than it had started ! Mrs Johnson”
