“Lovely place , setting very peaceful Food really tasty but service slow . Lots of confusion with waiting staff in the bar at lunch time , waited over 35 minutes for our lunch order to be told had been given to another table ! That was a lie as the order had never come out to the bar!!!!”

“Absolutely disgusting hotel is in a state of disrepair. Staff are extremely rude. Food was awful. And spa was filthy. Hotel restaurant staff were very rude we waited an hour and a half for our dessert for it not to arrive I was also laughed at and told I wasn't allowed a non alcoholic beverage as apparently they don't serve them yet other customers received them. Extremely disappointed with our stay”

“Staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is so much history relating to the main house and it was interesting looking around and imaging how the original occupants lived. The evening menu was a little limited, and it was a shame that many dishes carried an additional supplement, however the food was delicious. Our room was very comfortable and would definitely look to return in the future.”
